Flowers for Peace

12.00

We stumbled upon these solid brass shells at a metal scrap yard and thought of the famous scene from 1967 of Pentagon anti-war protestors placing carnations into the barrels of rifles. So we transformed a symbol of violence into one for peace by polishing the brass and making each shell into a beautiful brass bud vase. Remade with love in Berkeley, California. Each vase has unique dings and scratches, and holds up well to the rigors of flower-holding.
